So you have a striking and powerful logo for your clinic; have you considered where the best place to put it is?
Your logo is the identity of your company. It should be the first thing that comes to mind when people think of your business, and should easily distinguish your clinic from its surroundings. Where you place your logo can be just as impactful as the logo itself.
There are many other ways to advertise your logo through digital and traditional advertising means. For this article, we will be focusing exclusively on the most effective spaces within your clinic.
The exterior of your clinic is the first feature visitors see. The front end of your practice should be clearly branded so people can quickly identify their destination.
Customers expect to see your clinic from a distance, so using your logo and company colours is essential to attract attention.
Your building’s facade is a broad area. If you’re struggling to figure out the best places to put your logo, consider where the areas that get the most traffic are, and the spots which are most in view. Liaise with your landlord and the local council to meet with their requirements.
Some good places to put logos are:
- Roof signs
- Glass shop fronts
- Main entrances
- Unobstructed walls
Entrance signs are a perfect tool to map the route to your clinic. If your building is in a difficult to see location, some signs with your logo on them can direct customers to their destination.
So your customers know which building is yours – now make it obvious which entrance leads to your clinic. This step is especially important to clinics located in an office complex or shared facilities.
On The Car
This last point is a bit of a cheat because it’s not technically part of your clinic. Make your brand stand out as soon as customers walk through the door. Find the least obstructed wall that is instantly in eye-view when you enter the building. This is a perfect place to print your brand logo. A logo is a great way to greet a customer as soon as they enter the building and reaffirm that they’re in the right place. Consider backlighting for greater prominence.
On The Reception Desk
A popular spot to put a logo is on, or near, the reception desk. This is likely the first thing customers will look for, so it’s an effective way to spread brand awareness. It also takes up much less space than a feature wall, but gets just as much attention.
Floors & Carpets
As above, so below. If you’re looking for a unique way to display your logo, the answer might be right beneath your feet. People are used to looking at the ground, and when they’re on their phones in the waiting room, their eye view will be attracted to the floor.
You can incorporate your logos in a variety of ways. The print could be woven into the carpet; it could be painted or stencilled onto tiles, or stained into the wood.
A good rule of thumb is to put your logo where eye level is. If you run a dental practice, you have a unique situation where eye level is the roof when patients are in your seat. Branding can be an interesting roof fixture that not many other clinics have incorporated.
There are plenty of nick-nacks and small items to slap your brand on around the office to give it more of a custom feel. From stationery to uniforms, there’s no harm in putting your brand on a few miscellaneous items.
Ideally, with these small items, you want them to spread brand awareness outside your clinic. Such things like letters, pens and things customers can take with them outside of the building will work as advertising for your business.
